 N2XRY Cable Application

 

N2XRY cable is suitable for AC 50Hz power and distribution lines with rated voltage of 0.6/1kV, which can be used in fixed industrial power applications, underground tunnels, etc. Using steel wire armour offers great mechanical protection, making it rigid with a large radius.

Reduced emission of Halogens chlorine<15%
TERMINAL PERFORMANCE Maximum service temperature: 90°C
Maximum short-circuit temperature: 160°C(max. 5s)
Minimum service temperature: -40°C

N2XRY Cable Construction

N2XRY Cable CU-XLPE-SWA-PVC

  • Conductors: soft annealed copper and can be either stranded circular or shaped.
  • Insulation: Cross Linked Poly Ethylene (XLPE) or Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC).
  • Bedding:PVC
  • Armour: single layer of steel wire
  • Oversheath: single layer of extruded PVC and is usually black in color.
